MyPreOp® Kids streamlining the preoperative assessment of children.

The MyPreOp® Kids system provides a cloud-hosted parent/guardian questionnaire and clinical portal. Enhancements over existing paediatric pre-procedure processes are achieved by:

  • adapting questions from the adult MyPreOp® platform for early-years and associated conditions

  • pulling in patient demographics automatically from PAS and configuring by hospital or specialty service

  • inviting parents/guardians via SMS/email with a secure access code for their child’s assessment

  • organising clinician workflow using folders such as ‘Needs attention’, ‘Not started’, ‘In progress’, ‘Complete’ and ‘Archived’

  • providing branching questionnaires that trigger tasks (e.g., tests, referrals) and automatically generate a clinical summary for export to EPR

Additional features include:

  • secure cloud-hosting with integration into Trust PAS and electronic document systems

  • compliance with DTAC, NHS DSP Toolkit, DCB0129, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials +, and registered as a Medical Device (MHRA ref. 6625)

  • embedded patient/guardian information links and accessible design (WCAG 2.1 AA)

  • direct parent/guardian messaging via SMS/email using templates

  • clinician summary reports, custom business intelligence dashboards, and full integration with EPR

  • comprehensive support, training and onboarding for patients, guardians and clinicians
