MyMRI can help you streamline patient safety assessments before an MRI scan. The MyMRI system provides a cloud-hosted patient questionnaire and clinical portal. Enhancements over existing processes are achieved by:

• Collecting pre-procedure information from the patient using the Ultramed online digital health platform.

• Building in information about the MRI using weblinks; the patient's MyMRI information is flagged up for review automatically if any issues are identified.

• Their information is then reviewed by a clinician or trained admin staff, with action taken to investigate if an MRI scan can safely be done, or an alternative imaging modality identified.

• Patients confirm their MyMRI safety check results on the day of the scan which are signed by the patient and clinician and filed electronically.

The patient questionnaire and some features of the clinical portal can also be customised for your hospital.

MyMRI is a sibling programme to MyPreOp, which has been widely adopted by the NHS.

This results in the majority of the pre-procedure safety assessments having been carried out before the patient arrives, minimising the risk of a scan being cancelled on the day.
